It’s already April dudes! My favorite month of the year for many reasons. Finessed this #vegan bowl 😋 Quinoa, spinach, baked garbanzo, avo, hummus, pumpkin seeds, green onion & cilantro. Side note: we started #composting in the backyard so the scraps from this lunch are gonna be lunch for mama earth🌱

Being #vegan in a very non vegan world is challenging for many reasons but every time I look into eyes like these, I’m reminded why I choose to live this way. Yeah sometimes I struggle to find veggie options, especially while traveling, and social isolation is a very real thing, but my values ascend the discomforts and I’m reminded of the “why.” I’m curious to know your “why” - what’s something you care deeply about that maybe society has overlooked? Human passions fascinate me 🌱

Instances of us in the desert flash in the back of my mind. I can almost feel the beaming sun hitting my lips and salty sweat drip down my temples as I reminisce. But just as nature finds a way to exist and thrive in the valley of death, I too will overcome.
